The MOU covered collaborations in the areas of joint application for funding to facilitate related research projects, organising events such as local and international conferences, seminars and symposium to promote Hong Kong’s status as a Smart City, enhancing internship and employment opportunities for students of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and designing professional training for industry executives. The MOU was signed on 2 Nov 2017 by Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice-President of Lingnan University and Mr Eric Yeung, President of the Smart City Consortium.
